Well, not really...

At Saturday's wedding we went into a slow song and one young lady that had been on the floor for most of the night blurts out loud enough for me to hear, "My boyfriend's not here and I have nobody to dance with".

Me, being the kind of guy that I am, walk across the dance floor, show her my wedding ring, and said, "Can you pretend I am your boyfriend for this dance?" She graceously accepted.

During that moment I got her name, found out that she and her boyfriend are to be married next year, and they don't have a DJ yet. After the dance I kissed her hand and gave her a card.

My wife tells me that she called today and asked for a contract.

Now that is one classy way to do business.

But a contract for what? He did not say to DJ

Did I tell you that my other sideline is hit man?

Seriously, I just talked to her. I e-mailed the contract; she did the print, sign, scan, and e-mail back thing; and sent the booking fee through PayPal. I just printed, signed, scanned, and e-mailed her a copy back and sent her the links to the planning system and guest request system (I love DJEP).
