Lots of info online.
This list isn't too bad - look at number 1. It's on my next wedding must play list and last nights jr high dance, it's the 8th grade theme song.
The top requested song, which I didn't have and never head of (and I asked my 11 year old and 14 year old and they too were clueless) was Boss by Fifth Harmony.
They asked, and I had, Honey I'm Good by andy grammer so I felt up to date...for 2 seconds. Most knew 'whoomp there it is" though.

I have been maintaining a list of the Billboard Top 100 for every year (ever) since I started gigging. Note that in the 1940s and 1950s it was only top 3o lists I believe but those have limited use as that generation slowly ages out. Lately i have been adding the Ryan Seacrest top 40 lists to keep current for dance/modern music....
Charts - Year End

Top 40

For mainstream lists, if they ain't on these lists, they ain't relevant (Ok, very partially true) ;-)

As an aside, I keep those all on a tablet as my get out of jail free card if my laptops or system ever craps out. I can always direct insert into the back of my speaker mixer from an extra long 3.5mm y cable to stereo RCA. Did that once and it saved my bacon for 10 minutes until I got things back up again at a wedding a couple of years ago!

Most Billboard Top 40 that I know of is weatherproof. Some is clean, some is dirty - and most is ripped.
I'm really glad I don't smoke weed and come here
