I'm most interested in Taso's input on this one (wow, has he nailed his vids or what?) but welcome anyone else who would care to chime in. It seems to me that a big factor in Tas's success has been image and specifically, his videos. Since I'm pushing more on photography (but still pushing DJ as well), I've been mulling over the best way to make slideshows of the stills we deliver. Might need to start adding in video clips as well. More specifically, I want to create a really nice intro video/graphic as an opener. I have a couple of video editors (movie maker and powerdirector) but wondering if there's an online tool that you guys might recommend? I'm also wondering how you get around the whole music copyright issue on youtube as well. Seems everything I keep putting up gets punted.

Incidentally, here's a new logo I just had created.

Photologo.co made the new logo. Thanks guys. I'm pleased with it as well. Now if I can just incorporate it into some kind of animated, video intro.
Maybe they can make the logo look like it's being signed and then the photography fades in.

For music maybe put an instrumental together with Garageband (if you have a mac).

I love the new logo. These animated videos that you guys are looking for are usually done in adobe after effects. It takes a lot of skill to learn, and in all honesty would just go online and search for people that do after effect logo intros. I had others make mine and they came out to about $50-$75 per variation (some black logo, some white logo, some more elegant, etc.)

You can try an inexpensive online video intro creator.

I just used introchamp.com. I created a short 6 second intro for my next gig log video. I will likely just use it for every video moving forward for a while. You can add your logo to one of their pre made intro animated videos. I chose to add a picture instead to the one I just made. I will use it at the beginning of each video I make moving forward. The cost for a 720P intro I made was $4.98. You can get a 1080P one for $5.98, but since I use Youtube, I felt the upgraded HD was pointless for me.

There are other video makers, just google them. There is one called Viddyoze that looks real nice, appears to be a website from the UK. BUT you will pay $57 or $67 to use their service.

Fiver.com. Get some kid to do it for you for five bucks.

But seriously, Adobe After Effects is the go-to tool for what you are looking for. Not a cheap program, but you will find plenty of useful tutorials on YouTube.

I bought into viddyoze. It's a waste of money.
