Your first post reads like 2 are confirmed and 4 are pending. 2 you don't even have the dates, how can they be confirmed?
4 are on the books and 2 others are not settled yet until I find out today from my partner if the guy we do the event for in Branch Brook Park agrees to us doing those 2 events for the price we want to get paid. If not my partner said he can find someone else to do those 2 events. That's fine with me.

I'm not sure what the delay is. If they haven't agreed to the price you want, that's a no. I seem to find out pretty quickly if the customer isn't OK with the price. No waiting for someone to find out. Everyone has phones today. If he wants you guys, he'd call you. If you wanted to know the other day, you could have called him.

In my experience, people that want to book you have a sense of urgency as they don't want you to get booked elsewhere.

He called my partner and I was letting him handle it. I should find out today what the situation is when I see my partner.

I sometimes go months without seeing some of the djs I work with. Why do you need to see him? There are advantages to modern communication tools. Instant answers.

I forgot to mention we have a 1 year old birthday celebration to do on May 7th. The kids name is Harmony and her birthday is on May 6th on a Friday. I remember doing 1 of these a long time ago in Vailsburg Park. It was a lady where I worked that had us do it. I find these things funny because it's not about the kids. This is all about the adults. It's going to be in a new venue that was built in Wheequahic Park where the old one used to be. The event is from 3-7PM. You're allowed 2 hours for setup and 1 1/2 hours to clean up. So we can't get in to setup until 1PM. I was supposed to help a friend out with a big dance that day but we have this to do and I doubt I will make it to the dance. It starts at 8PM.

How many people are expected at this event? For a typical set up for a child's birthday party, I get to an event 2 hours before, but that's to give me plenty of time to fix something if something is wrong. I don't need 2 hours to set up. There's a venue in downtown Cleveland that can only give an hour to set up. So. I get there early, get all of my equipment all ready to go on a cart right outside the room and quickly set up in plenty of time. I know a DJ that said he won't do an event at that venue since he doesn't have enough time to set up.

I bet I'd be out of there by 7:10😁

We will be using 2 tops and that's it along with the setup to play on and a light stand with some lights. As for the DJ who won't work in the venue that only gives a DJ one hour to setup, that DJ might have more stuff to use that will take more then an hour to setup. For example Taso couldn't setup what he uses at an event in an hour. We will be there along with the people setting up for the party. Some venues suck because of some of their rules for vendors to follow.

I can have music playing within 20 minutes fully set up in 40, if I don’t properly wrap cords I can be out in 15 min

I can set up in 15 min if it’s just sound. It’s never just sound though lol. For sound and moving heads… I can be done in about 30 min. This is after all is loaded into room.

Yeah that is if you just throw it together. LOL.

I can un open my Bose back pack, pull out a Bose SL1 Pro, plop it on top of a table or just leave on the floor, bluetooth my phone with pre set playlist ready to it, and have music playing in 30 to 45 seconds. This is of course after I get the phone and back pack into the room :)

Add 30 more seconds if I need to set up the speaker stand, and put the speaker on the stand :)

Cocktail Hour now has music. Or hell...if I have a charger to plug the phone into, I could do a small party with this. Not ideal, but it would work.
