"Pickin' on Sara Evans - A Bluegrass Tribute"

My Sat wedding was a bit of an unorganized trainwreck really tring to happen. The ceremony was moved to the reception hall hours before start time. A sands ceremony was added about 3 hours beforehand, and last I'd heard from the client was "Use what is right and normal." Well, for the sands I use "Simple Gifts" (a duet with Allison Krause and Yo-Yo Ma). This gal, one hour from isle call, asks for Sara Evans' "I Could Not Ask For More". I have Keith Whitley, not Sara. So I tear out less than an hour from start, in a city I'm not at all familiar with, to get the CD.

Wal-Mart has this one.

"I Could Not Ask" is just cruisin' fast and not what I (nor the gal would have) wanted.

I find a real record strore and get "Born To Fly" and life is good once again. Made it back 20 mins before isle call.

So...
That's why I am listening to this.
(PS: This rendition of "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" is really, really good.)

Nothing.

But I have the Gilligan's Island theme in my head.
I can fix that qucikly:
Start chanting:
The Pizza Hut, the Pizza Hut, Kentucky fried chicken in the Pizza Hut, the Pizza Hut, the Pizza Hut, Kentucky fried chicken in the Pizza Hut, McDonald's, McDonald's, Kentucky fried chicken in the Pizza Hut, McDonald's, McDonald's, Kentucky fried chicken in the Pizza Hut

Believe it or not....Sammy Davis Jr.!

Just picked up a copy of "Yes I Can!" The Sammy Davis Jr. Story (4 discs) and I'm on the last disc (live).

After that, I think I'm going to pull out an oldie but a goodie, "Elysian Encounter" by The Baker Gurvitz Army....

I have extremely schizophrenic tastes in music!
