Hello everyone my name is Ant Foster AKA uberkoolsound. I started my DJ life on vinyl back in the late 90s and have progressed with all platforms (CDJ,s / controllers) I have also been producing starting out with reason / Cubase / studio one / maschine. I love all forms of performance including standard 2 x tracks to incorporating hardware and software controllers into my sets. Always experimenting and changing my set-up. Looking to pop in and get involved with chatting on the forums.
I have also ran my own events and so think I am quite well rounded in the industry.
Peace & love

Welcome to the board Ant enjoy your stay :)

Hi, I am Giedrius, I study in Netherlands, Leeuwarden right now and I am mad about heavy music, been in Djs Society once, never found time to learn it... But I support it a lot, maybe one day I will find time to learn this incredible skill.

Hello Everyone,

I'm a part time Mobile DJ. Been doing this seriously for the last 12 years. I've been around so long though; I used to would DJ for parties and small weddings, and all I had to use was 'albums' and some cassette tapes. So many changes in the business. Hoping to come here and learn from all you great people, and maybe be able to offer some input with some of the threads here.

Besides music and Djing, I also enjoy photography. I would call myself somewhat of a 'expert amateur' . In advance 'thanks' for all the good conversations, and advice I believe I will receive here; and hopefully I'll be able to give in return.

I'm Don. I have been DJing and KJing for about 20 years. More of a part time retirement job than anything else. Normally I have about 5-6 DJ' working for or me as I have had jobs at multiple bars. I also have done many wedding receptions, parties etc. I have also made Karaoke books for many on the KJ's in Minnesota and a few other states. Since Covid has reduced the number of jobs I have I am now down to 2-3 DJ's. I have used Sax & Dotty, Show Presenter for a number of years and like both the old and new versions. Although some of my DJ's use other software for DJ purposes I prefer Winamp as I understand it quite well. Recently I installed the new Show Presenter program on a couple of laptops and have been having a problem I thought someone here could help me with. When entering a song name the apostrophe will not populate. It works in all other circumstances such as you tube etc. Any thoughts anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
