Hi Everyone. I have worked under the monikor Flykt for over 20 years - 10 years in Perth, Australia and then over a decade in London in the UK - specialising in House and EDM in famous West End nightclubs and venues. During my time in London I was also working for a company that designed lighting, sound and pyrotechnic rigs for nightclubs and bars. I recently moved back to Australia to run an AV Hire company.

I absolutely love this industry and love talking about new product launches and finding new ways of using old kit. Also I am now of an age where I enjoy watching the new kids come up and step up to the plate and see what mixing techniques and tricks they come up with.

Hi all... Newbie here from Pennsylvania, US. Just about an hour south of Pittsburgh. I'm not really a dj yet... but looking to get into it, I think. I worked as a wedding videographer for about 3 years and was always jealous of the dj's. Made some friends in the dj business and have decided I wanted to give it a shot. Bought a small controller, headphones, and started a music library and started learning. My goal is to start small, hopefully be able to do some free gigs locally and then dj small local events, smaller parties (under 100 people) and maybe some weddings some day. I know it's a bad time to start out in this business with all the stuff that's going on in the world and venues shutting down and cutting way back, but then again, maybe it's a great time to start... at least to get some practice in. I'm trying to learn as much as I can. I'm in my 40's, so I don't absorb it all as fast as I used to... lol. Hopefully I can stick around, learn a thing or two, and maybe someday be able to offer something to a newer newbie. :)

I'm Eric. Was a DJ for a couple decades. Now just interested in solving problems. Designed a DJ cable that I wish to God I had back when I was doing gigs all of the time. Have prototypes and would love feedback and pointers for getting this thing to market. Glad to be here!

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jay, been DJ'ing off and on for many years. I did it full time for about a decade, and now I just do it on the weekends for a little extra income. I am playing at a smaller bar, that likes Karaoke... a lot. But, it pays the bills, right? I mainly signed up because I have a gift for finding or experiencing technical issues that might only occur, once in a billion tries. So... its always good to be able to pick brains.

Welcome DJ Jay
pick away. Lot of experienced and successful Dj 's on ODJT.
won't take long for you to distinguish the winners from the BS'ers .

Welcome. I'd love a cable like that. I'd think selling on Facebook DJ groups to start. Then Amazon.

Appreciate your interest in helping others who may require the specific service provided. IMO wish you had come around ten years earlier. Hope to see more of your talent. I'm sure many here will take note of your invention. Welcome aboard.

Hi everyone,
I'm Michael Yanko, co-owner of A Better DJ and Photographer. I am a DJ, photographer, and videographer, and my partner Michelle is a top notch photographer. I started the company in 1999 as a single DJ company based in Central Florida. Over the years we expanded, added photography, later added video, and have been nationwide since 2010. We have over 4,000 very experienced DJ,s photographers, and videographers in our network and we focus on the budget market. We offer low prices but still provide top notch services. We make our money on volume and have done over 16,000 weddings and events. Michelle and I also set up road trips for ourselves with several weddings so we get to see our beautiful country. We are also professional concert photographers and have photographed 9 music cruises, hundreds of festivals, and thousands of concerts. I have used QSC speakers for many years but have recently switched to RCF, and we use Sony A7iii's for photography. We have over 1 million photos on each of our websites.

Welcome Michael glad to have you here jump right in there's always lots of conversations going on that I'm sure you can add too with your wealth of knowledge

Hey, Am Liberty, an Audio Visual Enthusiast. I like playing music in my house, mostly background music, as a hobby, using playout systems, learning new dj skills. I like Broadcasting, may own a radio station in future
