Hi, I'm Daniel. I've been interested in DJing since I was a college. Now that I have the things needed to become a DJ, I'm now looking for some tips and tricks to make the process a lot more fun and exciting.

Hi, I'm Daz from Manchester UK. I am not a professional DJ just gig at some local pubs in the area and parties when asked, more of a hobby and fun for me.
I am more of a video DJ and try and find videos for all the songs I play from the '50s right up to modern-day, also do karaoke too. Customers like it and I regularly receive good feedback so I must be doing something right. I look forward to reading the posts and know I'll gain a lot from all your experience and experiences. Cheers.

Hello all,

New to this. I am Josh, co-founder of Demand DJ. I am active on Instagram but want to expand my network. My company provides a service to DJ's to allow them to get paid for playing people's requests. I will explain more in a forum, nice to meet you all!

Hello just joined this group

I am a Dj in Dallas, Texas and own a company called outspoken visions. We have been in the market for about 8 years and I have been a DJ for over 10 years. We offer all kinds of services, and we have 5 djs on our team. I am thrilled to join this group, I love to learn about new things and get more knowledge about the industry.

Hi all, my name is Jim Campbell, I'm in Statesville NC. I have actually been a DJ since 1978. My company's name is Sound Entertainment. my website (and it appears to still be active) is www.dj4fun.com 1978, Boy that is a long time. In so many ways I'm better person for it ands in some ways I'm paying the toll. After all these years I have decided to hang up my turntables. Yes I said turntables. I began on vinyl, some cassettes, morphed to CD & Vinyl, Then it was on to Rane Serato. So I have a lot of experience. I am actually in the process of selling some of my equipment but the big thing I am selling is my music collection. I am changing professions after all these years. From DJ to Farmer. I know that does not make sense. From entertaining 10's of thousands of people over years to serenading cows & pigs (not actually). Go figure. Anyway, I came across this forum while I was researching my collection and specifically I have two full books of the DJ Platinum Series that I was researching. You folks have had a discussion thread about this. Thus it lead me to join your group.

For years I was a member of one of the South's most premier DJ Record Pools, Dixie Dance King. It has been a beautiful experience and I am thankful for the way that God has used my talents over the years. Even when I was not listening He was preparing me for more in life. Anyway, thank for opening your arms to me. If you know someone that is interested in my vinyl music collection please let me know. I have 2,389 pieces of vinyl. I have documented all of the titles, artists, year and more. I have Rock, Beach, Disco, Dance, Ulitmix, FunkyMix, Hi-N-R-G and so much more. I have started the process to catalog my CDs. This has been a long process. You can e-mail me and I am more than willing to send you my file with all my music on it. I can also be reached via e-mail at [email protected]
