Hello all,
I've been lurking around these boards for some time now.
My love for music and entertaining has been with me for a long time: from playing house parties on cassettes, to messing around with friends on turntables, and eventually becoming their roadie as they grew into the club scene, being the host when my baseball team tailgates after games, not wanting to go home to the wives, to gigging work events and functions.
I've done my fair share of partying with all different crowds and scenes and thus have an eclectic taste in music
I've gone from messing around on Cross DJ on Android, to mixxx on PC and now on Serato.
I'm here now as my OCD has me obsessed with trying to perfect the art of entertaining, and you all seem like a fun crowd to learn from.

I am new to the world of DJ'ing and I am preparing for my first show. I currently create music and in addition to starting live performances using my own music. I am wanting to DJ for other events like weddings, corporate events, etc. I am looking forward to learning new information from other more seasoned DJ's in this group.

Hi, I'm Ray and I'm a DJ/KJ. Been doing this for well over 15 years anywhere from small private parties to wedding Rreceptions.

Oh I am sorry. Here is a little more information about me. My artist name is Mur'Ray and I already create electronic music using Logic. Now I am wanting to start doing live performances as well as DJ for private events on the side. I have never used a DJ controller before I recently purchased my Pioneer Dj SB3. Man I am so loving hearing my music mixing together. When I am not creating music I am self employed and hoping to include a successful DJ career so I can stay self employed. Lol! I have released three songs already and preparing to release my first album this year. I live in the Houston Texas area and I am really looking forward to learning about DJing from the Vets in this group. Thanks in advance for all the lessons that I am sure all of you will teach me. To Dan the Man and all those who created this group thank you, this group is already making live performances more comfortable to go into. Thanks again.
