What we brought to the event was more than enough. People were highly impressed. So impressed we got a job out of it and possibly at least one more.

Did you actually do any dj’ing at this event, or did you just sit in the chair on the stage like you’ve done in the past? Or were you on photo patrol.

Haha, you always seem to have to stroke your ego somehow. You care to share exactly how people showed you that they were impressed with you guys?

Show of hands who is glad this is over?

Who is willing to chip in to pay Mix $400 to NOT take this event next year

Last year was not funny for me at all. I can't lie and your comment didn't piss me off. I was in major pain at the event last year. I could barely walk. I need the hip replacement surgery and didn't have it at that time. That's why I could barely play at all. I could do about 15-20 minutes and had to sit down because of the pain. I'm much better now. Hope you never have that experience. If you do you will understand why some days I was depressed.. last year was the worst year of my life.

I hope when I get home I can make a couple of gig reports about the 2 events we did this weekend. I will get them done soon. Super tired right now and I'm in Level 10 to hear a couple of DJ friends of mine play for a party tonight.

It will be again. It's a yearly event that the city helps to pay for.
Bwahahahahah....OMG... bwahahahahahahahahaah, I'm in tears! The city doesn't pay him, the dad of the deceased does.... but not enough but he will be back next year because the city helps pay him! Ummm....I'm so lost.

The City of Newark, NJ helps to fund the event. Some elected officials give money and donations coming in help to put this event on.
