The Bozak CMA-10-2DL is credited for being the first purpose built DJ mixer for nightclubs. It was used in places like Studio 54.

It probably looks pretty familiar as it was the basis for the much more commercially successful UREI 1620 mixer. While I like rotary knobs, the format is rather primitive by modern standards. No meters, no cross-fader, no mix control on the monitors, etc. These still fetch huge sums of money.

UREI was sold to Harmon in the late '80s. The brand disappeared but was then revived in the mid 2000s by Soundcraft (also a Harman brand). They relaunched the UREI1620LE. They weren't around for long and fetch a pretty high price.
