If I were buying new turntables today, I think I'd buy the Pioneer PLX-1000 or Denon VL-12 Prime. Maybe even the Reloops.

Technics leaving the market, then coming back only for audiophiles... and it appears they now miss the DJ business. Their products are iconic and always will be. But others have caught up and are clearly investing more in the DJ market.

I haven't seen a price on these yet though... maybe they're trying to get competitive. But I doubt it.

Maybe they'll have a price thrown out during CES which starts tomorrow.

What they should have done is to invest in making DJ controllers or a different kind of CD player that a DJ could use.
