My DXR12's from northern sound and light, with rebate from yamaha, were just under $500 each. Add in 60 for a cover and i'm done.
.
I went the same route( from I got mine from Mike @ Audio Pyle) when they were offering the rebate at the time, very happy with them.

But I am liking the these new line array systems that have been coming out

I got 2 from him, and covers. Then last year they did the rebate and again and i got them from NSL since they're local, and 2 covers.

Interestngly, these covers are for WEATHER use...as in keeping rain off them in use. Handy!

I now have 4 plus the stagepas 600i. Was using the stagepas for ceremony's now use 1 dxr most of the time.

with 4 I can use them at a school dance (400 kids...in feb) as well as with my alto wireless for side/rear/second room use.

that was the main part of the investment in my gear last year. then a few weeks ago booked 2 school dances and got a truss setup and another UV light.

Been very happy with the yamaha gear.

Interesting, are the covers you got Yamaha covers or a 3rd party covers, I dont think the ones I got are for weather use but I only paid $30 ea for them if I recall.

all yamaha branded covers. I think $50ish each.

This is the 'all weather' one I got , except for the 12" speaker... YamahaSPCVR-1001 Speaker Cover for DXR10 / DBR10 / CBR10 - (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1176769-REG/yamaha_spcvr_1001_speaker_cover_for.html/?ap=y&gclid=Cj0KCQiAj4biBRC-ARIsAA4WaFgp1tVYYE4qrRVEPoauSOOIkSdxMQN-j349wkN830hPvtm7YnX3KnUaAvKzEALw_wcB&lsft=BI%3A514&smp=Y)

I know there's no difference in name brand and knock offs😄

But here's an example:

Wireless Bluetooth Headset Sports Headphones | Noise Canceling Microphone, in-Ear Stereo Headphones with Portable Charging Box | Compatible with All Bluetooth Devices I7, I8, I8X, etc. (White)… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MX4RHH8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_GYjtCbTSB5FQ0

They are obviously airpod knock offs. But notice the 25 5 star reviews. All were written on the same day, and many of the names are used again and again. The odd use of a few English words would suggest English is not the native language.

If the product were the same as the name brand, 75% cheaper, why would they need to make fake reviews?
