Smaller Controller!

It is smaller then most controllers out now. I have the Wego also and it is really only about 40% bigger then that. As for price this is a solid unit and well built and have no fear of it breaking down because of transporting or wear or tear. the Wego has had multiple break downs and have replaced it once already. For the price and now using this as my main unit it was worth every penny.

The WeGo, being plastic, has certainly scared me off.
And the smaller controller would, for now, be my main unit.
How is the mic section on the Prime Go? I have found most controller mic inputs to be sub standard.

Also have taken a look at this:

No jog wheel, no mic inputs .. would have to cascade this to another mixer for those.

The WeGo is plastic, but it's a "good" plastic .. :)

I have a similar unit; the AKAI AMX. I remember comparing the AMX to the Mixtour before going with the AMX, but I can’t remember what features pushed me toward the AMX. Again, I use the AMX as a backup on my large system, but it works well. The only thing I’ve noticed is that I end up using my mouse to control the software when using the AMX because the locations of some of the controls are not as intuitive. If I used it more, I could probably overcome that. It has a GREAT cross fader. I use it with a little Alto mixer to get Mic inputs...

Not trying be funny here. What do you call sub standard for mic input? just curious.

Well....have ended up doing nothing. More restrictions - more cancellations.
I'll wait on any equipment purchases.
If you change your mind, NLFX has the Roland 707m on a Black Friday sale. It has nice mic features including feedback suppression options.

Got to say that controller looks nice. especially it doesn't look very big and bulky. Also I bet the weight is nice too.

Interesting... the Roland DJ-707 would fit in the top of a 19” rack if you removed the rails.

You could attach a rack mounted shelf to the front rails and sit the controller down in the top of the rack.

... except you’d have to flip it over.😊
If I didn't have the Denon MC6000v2, either that Roland or the Denon Prime Go would interest me. The Roland seems to have a lot of capability wrapped inside. A bit deep, but still relatively compact.

Mixon4 and Mixtour with Yamaha mixer using VDJ. Have another Yamaha mixer because that's the way I like it. Work in progress. Looking for better cooling pad for mixer. 3 pieces cost me 1000 CAD. Almost new. I also have 2 native instrument controllers that I use it with Traktor. Probably will sell it.

MIX - I have found that the mic section on most controllers have been substandard. I get better "control" of the sound with the additional mixer.

It's smaller than my MC4000 - bigger than the Prime Go. It certainly has many options that would work for me.
Does anyone have it or have used it and what is your opinion??

It's relatively new .. came out earlier this year. Not aware of anyone here mentioning they had it. Benefit of the Prime Go is it has a built in music manager/player .. downside is you're paying for battery based performance whether needed or not.
