I'm using Roxio 2009 to create a slide show, but the problem is this. I have a colored panel in the uppper preview window. This colored window is also in the storyline only smaller. I want my opening slide to have text, so I type text intro in the color panel that is in the preview window. I can't figure out how to get it down in my opening slide in the storyline section. Does anyone have a clue. Thanks

Haven't used that program, but it sounds like it's limited. Even Windows Movie Maker (pc) and imovie (mac) may be more flexible choices. Lots of free or low budget programs out there as well.

Go to the time line view. At this view you will see each of your photos, audio line and text line. Drag the test that you want to the colored square and make sure that it extends for the duration of that slide.

Brian in the edit portion you can also apply the text to that box! If you have any problems give me a pm and I will fire up my version and try to walk you through it!

Thanks a whole bunch Bill. I was playing around with it keeping in mind what you stated, and I think I may have done it. Now if I can only remember how I did it.
