Thought I'd share these for discussion sake:
and an earlier one:
First thing, lots of users are hitting the home page then bouncing off. A few weeks ago, I added a bunch of material to the home page first, to try and make a pitch to more people and second, to try and get them to stick around a bit longer. After that, the pricing page was most popular, followed by our "special deal" page. This is where I'm pitching free photobooth or uplighting with the bundle package. If you'll notice, during the current 30 day period that deal page is getting as much traffic as pricing (a good sign). When you get down to services, the photo page is pretty even with DJ, which is also where I wanted to be. I just rolled the lighting page under the DJ menu and added a photobooth page, so it'll be interesting to see how those numbers change in coming months. Finally, the part that surprises me is that people are looking at the "About Us" page, about the same as the contact page. Just food for thought. What do your stats look like?
BTW, I just got my email program back up and running. Sent out 500 today and will do 400 tomorrow. I'm thinking to send them out monthly as the weekly send was just too much. In the past, that mass email system regularly put gigs on books, both people who'd forgotten about us (or they forgot to book) and the occasional other vendor bailing. It's a worthwhile exercise and hate that I've been letting it slide.
