Shure SLX 1 body pack sync

can anyone tell why I cannot get this SLX 1 body pack to communicate with my SLX 4 receiver????

They are both J band. I have tried to set the channel manualy and by the auto sync mode.
 
It's worth checking the SLX firmware.

Did you buy the two together, or separately?

If they are from different generations, they may need that firmware update before they'll talk.

But I'm not sure how you connect the computer to the SLX device... The QLX-D I use has an ethernet port. But i'm sure there is a way to do it... Might be worth sending Shure a note. They have been very responsive when I've needed them.
