Just hired Nick Cannon as "Chief Creative Officer" ..

The "Drumline" star will help develop products that will be exclusive to RadioShack and help revitalize the store's image. He'll also help curate of the stores' music selection and organize performances and events.

I was not aware they even had a music selection .. and not sure what they'll do with performances .. unless they're going for hip and fresh.

radioshack? As in the store chain that went out business last year?
Not out of business .. just Chapter 11. Down to a small percentage of stores .. many shared with Sprint. I guess they are going to take another swing at it.

For me they were over priced but good for needing stuff on the fly. Emergency arises and you could go to Radio Shack to look for a solution.

They have been out of business in Canada for many years. The remains were bought by Circut City then Bell Canada and it operates as the Source now

The Radio Shack by my house is still open . . . although I will admit it has been at least six months since I stopped in.

That is so ironic since The Source is dead in the States... The Source Canada is a shell of Radio Shack what I miss them for the parts also. The also made great audio electronics (had them made for them) and speakers that are now being appreciated by vintage audio collectors.

I still have 3 pairs of Minimus 7 speakers .. Always thought they were great little monitors.

The little radio shack in Cranford, NJ by me is still open. I stopped in and bought nothing. lol.

Actually I was looking for an adapter for a game console for my kids. They did not have it. I was glad to see they were still open though.
