Looking for powers cords that stay flexible in extreme cold, I’ve always made my own in the past but if anyone knows of a manufacture that builds them that would be great looking for 15 foot with a c13 connector on one side and a standard grounded outlet plug on the opposite

I bought 15-foot cords a long time ago...
but never tested them in EXTREME cold.
Although, working for the production company, we've done gigs in the cold.
Seems the heavier (thicker) the cable, the less flexible it is when cold.

Most powered speakers only draw a few amps. A 16-AWG cord is plenty for a 15 foot run. You could even get by with thinner 18 AWG, if you can find it. The thinner the gauge (higher numbers are thinner) the more flexible the cord given the same insulation and outer jacket type. The key thing to look for is really the outer jacket. These have all sorts of ratings (S, SJ, O, OO, W, T, E, etc). You may see SJT or SOOW or things like that. The E rating is a more rubbery compound that tends to remain more flexible in colder weather. For instance a 16AWG cord rated SJEOW should work well in the cold.

Yes I know all about cord jacket specs I was just hoping someone had come across a manufacturer making something with the proper cord, I guess I’ll just build another set on my own
