Just wanted to share these with you guys. I'm obviously biased but I'd like to say how excited and pleased I am with wifey's progress on the photography front. This wedding was about 1.5 hours from home and it was a sauna as there's no A/C at this barn venue. They originally had intended to do the ceremony outside but rain made a mess of the ground so they moved it inside the barn.
On gear, we're shooting full-frame with Canon 6d and I believe most of these shots were taken with a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 lens that we rented for this weekend. That lens is our next purchase, it takes gorgeous pics. If you want to compare, the groomsmen were taken with a Canon 24-105mm F4 lens (by me). We still have a long way to go but the portfolio is shaping up nicely. I believe we're going to be in good shape for next season and we still have several nice events on the books for this year. BTW, I hired out the DJ portion on this event. We used the venue's Alto 215 speakers. They were great. Incidentally, the pics posted are linked to FB-loaded shots (they diminish the quality a lot). If you really want to compare the shot quality between the lenses, us the full album link.
