This Equinox light is not available in the US and it's several years old, but this effect would be neat, whether as a main dance floor light, at a wall, or shinning via a fabric behind a facade or similar.

Reminds me a lot of the older Martin EGO 3 series which has a similar effect, although outdated now.

I find these types of lights so much more interesting than dots or lines or spin and puke cheap DJ lights that I see many DJs use.

In some way, it's a glorified wash light!

On a quick Google search I can't seem to find a price on them in US or Canadian dollars I'm seeing 169 British Pounds. What are they selling for this side of the pond?

It would be great as a dance floor pattern.
Keep it static until dancing starts...
kick it up once the fun begins.
slow it down for slow songs.

ya, it looks cool for sure. Might pull the trigger but it still amazes me that another company in the US has not copied or made anything similar!
