Hello Members & Friends,

I just thought I would give the heads up that our next meeting is only one week from today. In case you did not go to the NJDJN.com web site, our special guest is Adam Weitz of A Sharp Production in Philadelphia. Adam is a master of the usage of multi media upselling and performance. What is multi media? That is the usage of televisions and screens to impact your performance. Adam uses video games, dvd's, and all kinds of imaginative invention to differentiate his company from the competition. Many of us were mesmerized by his seminar at the 2007 DJ Times convention. I am personally a big fan of Adam's and I am really pleased that he is taking some time from his busy schedule to do what I'm sure will be a dynamic presentation. I'm sure we'll all learn a great deal. Even better, as this is not a big convention, it will be much more intimate and much more hands on. You'll have a much better opportunity to pick Adam's brain on how he puts all of this together.

I have stated this in the earlier e-mail I sent. This is MEMBERS ONLY. If you are not aware of your current financial and membership status with the NJDJN, you must contact our membership director Randi Rae by e-mailing her at [email protected] or calling her at 732-346-1466. Either that, or prepare to pay the $150 yearly membership dues at the door. From this time forward, there will always be someone at the door allowing only our members into the meetings. Your yearly dues make it possible for us to put on all the interesting, educational, and fun meetings we do every month so please help us to help you.

For those of you that were unable to attend Mike Wieder's wedding seminar "From First Call to Last Dance" at our meeting last January or at the DJ Times convention in August, you have another chance. The entire New Jersey Disc Jockey Network has been invited to got to the next D.A.M.E. (Delaware Association of Mobile Entertainers) meeting on October 21. The meeting is at 6:30 at Stewart's Brewing Company located in the Governors Square Shopping Center (Intersection of Routes 40 & 7) in Bear (New Castle County). You can e-mail [email protected] if you would like directions. This is especially enticing for all of our members in South Jersey, but you are all more than welcome to attend.

I look forward to seeing you all next week.

Regards,

Darryl "Jake" Jacobsen
NJDJN President
