This type of fixture could be really cool if programmed. But if you're going to just put it in auto... you might as well just as well just buy a Derby.

Spastic lighting that doesn't fit the music is not a cool effect.

I believe the next version will be called the GigBar Spastic.

Spasm would be more marketable...lol.

And the bigger model with twice as many spin & pukes could be called the GigPig Convulsion.

I have the OG Gigbar and bought the GigBar Flex without the Laser. oh and I am not a weekend warrior.

90% of my events don't even want lights and the the left over 8% just want a little something that puts a little energy on the floor. Which is where the GigBar shines.

2% of my events want something more like trussing, but that 2% is rare.

The GB is perfect for my types of events and it's fast and easy and the set up doesn't ruin the look of the room.

The Mover is a step up, but for me not worth it.

If it is 2% of your event bookings, well that is 1 in 50 events. Rare, but not all that rare. Once every 24 months or less...Unless you are doing 50 events a year, then it's a yearly occurrence.

I never get any that want large trussing.

We did just book a package with Two totems, moving heads, and a few other things. Surprisingly, the bride/groom are near 60 years old. I booked my brother on it as I am already booked. I gotta find him an assistant to work with him on that one

Well you work out the numbers, yeah it is less than 2% lol I was just thinking it is rare, not even once a year, in fact I think the last time was at a wedding, but usually it is a corporate event. But here is a pic from that wedding 2 years ago.

Does anyone know how to set the movers on this thing to "Totem Mode" so that the movers don't flash back at you? It's not on the website or within the manual.

By the way, the movers are plenty bright. Unless your DJing a festival, this thing is great for weddings, corporate events, etc.

Have you tried setting "TiltReverse" ? Or possibly PanReverse? Doesn't seem to be any other limit settings unless you use ones in DMX software. I know in myDMX Go, you can set movement limits.
