New Ceremony System

I just purchased this system at MBLV21. I am going to use it primarily for ceremonies and I think it fits the bill perfectly.

S600 Series Portable PA Solutions

• Small and lightweight
• Battery operated!
• Good sound
• Good mixer section
• Wireless mic receiver built-in
• Rolling bag/case

What I bought was:

• S600B main speaker
• S648 extension speaker for more volume
• wireless receiver
• handheld mic
• beltpack with lapel mic
• Rolling bag for the S600B and a cover for the S648 that will stack on top of the roller bag.

I didn't get the sub because I don't think it will be needed for ceremonies. With the sub it could do small receptions as well.

When I get it I will put it through its paces and report back.

I just don't like that you have to basically stand right next to the speaker,
in order to plug in and control the volume and mix.
Just limits your options on where/how you can set it up.

I usually setup the speakers at the rear of the room so they aren't in the pictures. I did think about that, but it's something I can definitely work with.
