Not legal...

As legal as Youtube ;)

Hmmm....IMHO, this event may turn out to be a bit....odd....just sayin'...:pillyes:

Try to find the more upbeat tracks that guests may understand and enjoy. Looking forward to the gig log on it!

I did a Halloween Wedding in July a couple of years ago complete with fog, decorations, and flashing strobes (all theirs) and a half hour of trick or treating. After that even the Star Wars wedding I did looked normal

I think it's likely he takes a look at it. He said he would. I don't think it's critical to know the films scene for scene, but rather just to understand the emotion that is coming from the music in order to program it.

I'd wager that a lot of DJ's wouldn't pick up the emotion aspect if it cried on their shoulder

Honestly .. I doubt many of the audience would as well.

Such presumptions...I guess those masks hide more than just half of your faces.
Most of my career roles required making educated presumptions, so I'm OK with that ..

I usually use VSQ for ceremonies (i ask..they prefer it)..have to check out the harry potter stuff!

Thanks

You also might consider something like VSQ versions rather than original recordings for the ceremony:

That might give you that mixture of the theme they want, but with more traditional ceremony sounding instrumentation.

I'd run it by the couple to see what they think.

Odd?
What is odd?

I did a few camo-themed weddings this past year, this being the MOST camo one EVER. Bride was full camo, all the bridesmaids too. AND the decorations, table cloths, etc.

The girls look like they can out-armwrestle all the guys ...

Keep in mind that when you buy the "entire" movie soundtrack,
you may (also) be getting a bunch of short, meaningless, interlude songs.
In other words, preview all the tracks before playing them,
and make sure they are worth including on your playlist.

Didn't you show me pics from that wedding when we met up?

Yes, it just happened then.

Not sure if weddings are changing away from traditional or I attract the oddballs.

You're not alone.
I've had a few strange ones over the years.
Even a few with camouflage. (although not quite as bad as that one)
