Interactive DJs Music Bingo - Need advice on how to do this with my system

wow,,,, if I had a brain I could understand most of that! LOL.... sounds like you have it down.... the "play time" of each song depends, If I am doing a "Blackout" game, I do 15 seconds to keep the game moving. The first game of the night I want to seem fast and fun, so 20 seconds.... so the middle section of the night, I do 30 seconds... The program is set for a random starting point, which mean it picks where in the song it will start. This is cool because if you are using the same game, or catalog, even if it plays the same song, it will sound a tad different because of where in the song it starts.

But this also depends on the crowd, if they seem like they are into the songs, singing along a lot I will extend it. One thing that the Jukebox Bingo game can do is change the "play time" on the fly, for example, if Cha Cha Slide comes on and people start doing it, I can extend that play time to let them dance the whole song if I want.

The time between songs can also be adjusted and you can pic a image to pop up on screen. If for example that you have a sponsor or advertiser, you can have their ad or logo pop up between each song.

All much appreciated tidbits as I am really only one evening of actual Ops deep into this. There is a local place that does Music Bingo (minus the video which I am concentrating on) every Saturday night that I am planning to attend once the wedding and boating season dries up a bit just to get some more insights. All the items like time/duration and starting at different cue points in the song and playing a long lead-out for people groovin' on a tune are easily done within VDJ so got all that cased i think. In fact I found myself doing a lot of those things instinctively when I did the three games during my "Trials" night. For time between song I simply auto-fade from one song to the next but also have a little sound bite promo clip I keep loaded as a display loop if I need time in between or to check out a potential winning card. Here is a full motion HD Loop I did recently as a sample that I may end up using that can easily be set to music using an alternate deck in VDJ 8 (this example is "sans" sound of course just to overcome getting a YouTube copyright notice):

and one I just did up last night for a local affiliate/friend (still needs a little cleaning up):

Was going to ask if you had song lists for your TV show games that you were willing to share by PM? I would be happy to likewise send you all my Bingo song-lists or completed spreadsheets in exchange. Any confidentiality wishes will of course be adhered to and no worries if it is a no. All the work is really in legally obtaining all the titles in question which usually rules out half the list right away anyway (there are oodles of lists like that online anyway which is how I compiled my lists - just nice to know what works for others). I think I nailed it with my Classic Rock list from what my friends are telling me if anyone want to see it????

Sorry to revive this thread from SEVEN YEARS AGO.

I just want to comment and say that I have a JukeBox Bingo gig booked at a local bar tomorrow night. Quick 2 hour event for $200, PLUS I will get a portion of the sales of each Bingo card if we sell more than 20 sheets (or 20 cards per game x two) :) - We are selling 2 cards per sheet.

A local bar owner reached out to me. Doing Music Bingo nights was no were in my mind before her email. Apparently, NOBODY does this Music Bingo in the entire Baltimore area. The Bar Owner did a trip to Myrtle Beach last October, and went to a bar that was doing Jukebox Bingo. She saw how packed the place got just because of the music bingo so she wants to try it at her bar.

Anyway, I downloaded the Extreme Bingo Digi Games App, and paid the $25 for the rental. The app looks old and is dated. It says it's last update was in 2017. The app plays music fine. I made my Bingo Playlist of 79 songs for an 80's music bingo game. THE BIG PROBLEM I am having is that when I go to have all of the Bingo cards generated by the program, I put in my preferences for the cards, and then the program says it has generated a PDF File, and the File is now on my desk top.

Well, there is no PDF file on my desk top. It never made a PDF. So all because of this error/glitch...The program is basically useless to me. @Chuck The DJ Are you still around??? Any Advice with your experience using this program that may shed light on fixing the issue I am having? Do you still use it today in 2023?

I have emailed Support@digigames TWICE with no response. Not happy about that. I am guessing the owners of digigames are maybe MIA these days and left their website there just to collect some payments from people who happen to decide to download one of their apps they made years ago.

Anyway, my plan for my first music bingo gig is to use Virtual DJ, and I purchased pre made bingo cards for a couple of games of of ETSY for now. I still need to type out my own music list so I can mark off songs that I played, and need to make a playlist in Virtual DJ. (Is there a way to print off a play list from virtual DJ directly? ).

I will need to create my own bingo cards for future games, and probably going to use this site I found called Bingo Baker in order to do that. It's a $25 fee, and I would input all the song titles, and the website will randomize them all onto bingo cards up to 150 different cards. I will probably work on all of that tomorrow morning.

An update to my earlier post. Digi Games finally got back to me and apologized for missing my first email. Apparently, They designed the software to put the pdf into a folder that Windows already has installed called "Desktop". The Desktop folder for some reason disappears when One Drive is installed on Windows 10 and Windows 11. I use One Drive. So anyway, all I had to do was create a new folder under the admin account, and name it Desk Top. I then re created the bingo cards, and it created the PDF, and I checked the Desktop folder, and there it was.

I wish the app was more specific with a message letting the user know that there should be a desktop folder in the admin account. That would have been nice from the get go.

So I'm good to go. I think for my first music bingo event I might be doing a mixture of using Virtual DJ, and this DigiGames software.

DigiGames has had a lot of issues with customer service. Hopefully you won’t have any issues with the S/W. My shows are all music-videos and occasionally there are issues with some videos starting/playing. With my newer laptop that issues very rarely happens but with the older laptops I had to be careful. I own 2 copies of Extreme Music Bingo so I am pretty much sticking with it as I have about 40 different games. Others have switched to other Bingo S/W as some S/W I have heard some have the ability to do online cards. Nice but that will add another layer of stress I don’t want to deal with. I originally got the Bingo S/W to do something for Seniors but decided to go in another direction with Extreme Music Bingo capitalizing on the video aspect which allows me to charge more.

chuck is on Facebook. He is busy every weekend up in wine county in CA.

Here is a couple of pics from the gig. It went well. We had 14 people who had reserved seats/tables on facebook with the bar who did not show up. If we had sold 14 more bingo games it would have been a great night for the bar! For it being the first night, the owner was satisfied. They put out a lot of money on a small buffet though for the bingo players, and they dished out a lot of money on prizes so I the bar didn't make much in the end, but looking forward to growing this Jukebox Bingo night there.
They were selling bingo for $20 all you can play for the 2 hours, and whoever bought the bingo was welcome to the buffet they put out.

The only glitch I had was starting out, the song calls were set for every 10 seconds...it was like super speed bingo...After first 2 songs I reset the call for every 1:30 then I scaled that down to 1:13 which seemed to be enough time for the song switches and people to enjoy each song. I think I will do a round of "Speed Bingo" next time I am there, but probably make the song switches 30 - 35 seconds each.

I am going to buy an HDMI splitter so I can get the graphics and song titles up on two screens instead of just one.

I'm back there in 2 weeks. The owner decided on having me come in every other Wednesday night for now. It's a small bar. If 60 people are inside this place I would consider it "Packed". The owner says she has had 100 in there once and it was so packed people couldn't move. I don't want to see that many people in there!

Last night was my third time there, Bingo is going well! About the same number of crowd and sales all 3 times so far. This week we had some regulars go to Ocean City Cruisin classic car show weekend, but we had 4 new people so we were only down like 4 sales from the previous time. The Owner thinks that the next time or two should be pretty busy. July/August might slow down a bit with people going on vacations, so June should be the strongest month in terms of number of players would be my guess.

Outside of the special effects when there is a BINGO, I think I actually prefer using Spotify, and creating the bingo cards on my own over using the Extreme Bingo Program. I can use a "Free Bingo Card Maker" online, and make the cards myself, and just pay $10 to create 100 cards, and create playlists in Spotify. I can show the artist and Band when I maximize the screen on Spotify when I want to. So, After the next 30 days are up I may stop using Extreme Bingo program. The only good thing about it is that I can leave it on auto, and set it to switch songs ever 1 minute or 1:10, or 1:15 for example and let it auto run instead of setting Spotify playlist to shuffle, and hit next when I want to play the next song.

I find that some players want the game to be "Making a T" and we have done it twice now...On a 80+ song play list, it makes a single game REAL LONG to do. I think I will only do a Tee with Bingo on my smaller games that are under 50 songs in the play list for now on. I also have found at leat with an older crowd in their 50s and 60s, and 70s that the sweet spot between song switches is between 1:05 and 1:20. I lowered the switches to every 50 seconds last night to hurry and end a game, and a few of the older ladies seemed a bit stressed trying to keep up.
