Only a very few people went and burned their shoes. Most of them were just used, plain Nikes. NOT $150 pairs of shoes...I am sure some were though LOL.

People get offended too often because they were coddled too much, quite frankly, they are just idiots. :)

As for Facebook there’s lots in to the koolaid there too. There’s some on my list that if Trump said the sky was orange they would repost and argue he was right

There is a Hierarchy of complex systems in place that have been instilled by the Elites to keep us divided. They would prefer to bring USA's standard of living down to other nations to ascertain even more control. These systems have been in place for years.

If anyone thinks that Billionaires give a F*** about you or me, you are sorely mistaken. Most of them are in the business of population control, and carrying out plans to structure our future in their favor.

The only thing that will ever unite the people is an out of this world Alien Invasion.If one were to ever occur, and If we were to succeed in winning, and survive the after effects of such a war, the entire economy would be restructured, and political parties would be disbanded. We would likely have a resource driven economy with a goal of bettering humanity. Capitalism would cease to exist. The economics of the future in this situation would be very different from where we are today.

We may need an alien invasion or something major to reset things. As we stand now with the mountains of world debt, the whole system will eventually implode. They can't kick the can down the road forever, and the cost of living cross the planet can't continue to rise more rapidly than wages as they have been. In no reality is that feasible. It will all come ahead eventually, and political correctness, and an individual's stance on the issues won't even matter.

You are assuming alot to say the USA has a higher standard of living than other countries. It's much better than many but not as good or equal to some

World debt is a scam. The whole world is in debt right now. Who do we owe the money to?

The economics of the world is pretty messed up due to printing money out of thin air, and selling bonds with nothing to back the bonds.

There's more debt than there is actual money. ...Basically, money is debt due to the fractional banking system. Unfortunately, all it will take is a major recession to screw us all up again What will be the answer next time? More bail outs, and Quantitative Easing? With automation, and losing many jobs for a growing population, it will just be worse in the future. Our current economy the way it was set up is built around jobs, and continual growth. They can't kick the can down the road forever. ...For instance, Brazil recently cashed in 1 Billion in bonds. Our government basically robs peter to pay Paul so to speak to make good on those bonds when they are cashed in.

Countries like France and Germany and Italy are even more screwed as debt is 300 to 440% of GDP.

I went Christmas shopping at a mall this past weekend with my GF. I must have heard "Baby It's Cold Outside" a half a dozen times in that one trip. I was incredibly offended... that my silent wish for "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" instead was not granted. But as with every other time I get offended, absolutely nothing happened (to me or anyone else). But if there ever is a Me Too movement of people that have heard that song, I can now proudly join the movement while sticking my fingers in my ears and repeating "La La La, I can't hear you."

Its the one thing liberals and conversatives agree one. One side calls it"live and let live", the other side calls it ,"less government"

But when you look more closely, both sides just want less regulations on the things they believe in and more regulations on the things they don't:)

Liberals want more gun control
Conservatives want abortion laws, laws banning gay marriage

You hit it right on the head Scott. As a left leaner I just prefer to have sensible laws but some are more militant than me....And I suppose sensible is up for interpretation too
