Rick....it's not liberals.
It's politically correct a**holes who are easily offended...
and want everyone else to be offended, too.

There's plenty of those on BOTH sides of the aisles.

People have a right to be offended by things....
just as you have a right to NOT be offended by the same things

Actually if they were true Liberals they would be more live and let live most of us don't care what you do as long as it doesn't affect us...

Next thing they will be going after guitars that are tuned good ;)

Actually, live and let live is a libertarian thing .. most true liberals want you to live as they perceive themselves living (rarely as they actually do).

Liberals are of the mindset that "it's okay to think whatever you want to think, as long as it agrees with what I think" and you're exactly correct that they rarely practice what they preach.

Liberals are of the mindset...

It's rarely wise to talk about the mindset of large groups of people and paint them all with the same brush. I don't identify with a single political party, and have views that skew liberal on some issues, and conservative on others. But I think the "my team vs. THEIR team" mentality is at the root of a lot of unhappiness in this country right now.

We should rally around the things that we do all want, like prosperity and opportunity. Even if we don't all agree on the path to get there - coming from a common lens would lead to much better conversations.

Yep it is mostly the liberals. Their platform was that anything goes as long as you don’t hurt someone!

Now it seems that most liberals get butt hurt at almost everything!

I researched these two .org and they have absolute liberal foundations

The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA) and the State Wide Suicide Prevention of Tennessee (SWSPT) are working together to get radio stations to ban the artist.

I don't know. ...I have never met a Republican that get's offended by stuff so easily, or creates campaigns because they are offended about an issue. Most will defend something openly like 2nd Amendment gun control etc. but won't petition to ban a song ...Well, I guess I have met some real old ladies who make a big deal out of something stupid who might be republican, and older folks take offense to teens and adults wearing their pants down way low, and showing their butt cheeks, but I don't consider that as the same. Especially since they are correct....People wearing their pants down low showing their ass are rediculous, and look stupid. :)

Quite frankly... both sides get offended by a lot of stuff. You notice it less if it's your own viewpoint. Republicans think the media is being too hard on Trump, and that the Mueller investigation is a witch hunt. They get as equally offended by those things as liberals do about immigration issues. When it's not your viewpoint, it's easy to think the other side is overreacting.

Again, I dunno. I see republicans not offended by any of that. They are mostly amused by the situation as they type #MAGA, or say something like "He is still your president!" etc, ...I rarely see Republicans going off on a tyrade over it, or having a meltdown about things. Most republicans seem to stay calm about things. Sure, there are few ultra right wing nuts out there, but most of the extrovert republicans seem to keep a cool head in public.

I've seen many liberals throw a temper tantrum, cry, or/and become constructive and combative over not getting their way in recent years. The safe space thing is stupid.. Also, seriously, some of the things for someone to be offended by are just ridiculous. ...Also, when a man wins woman of the year title in a magazine, something is seriously wrong.

Okay....forget liberal or conservative.
Because they are political terms, and this is more of a "personal" issue.

The REALLY stupid part of being "politically correct"....
is that the concept was created to avoid hurting people's feelings.
But somehow....
the more politically correct you try to be...
the more people you offend.

The ultimate solution is to avoid the things that offend YOU...
and stop trying to make things "correct" for everyone else.

Thankfully I'm on neither side .. I registered as an Independent 40 years ago (though the government changed me to Unaffiliated years back). I'm fiscally conservative and tend to socially moderate or liberal. My motto: I don't care what you do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, I don't have to see it or be a part of it, and I don't have to pay for it (today or the consequences tomorrow).

Unfortunately way too many need to be offended for way too many reasons these days
