Sorry I meant to say I'm satisfied right now with what I'm using right now. I'll always want more stuff. It's about being practical. I can eventually get more stuff but if I'm not getting the gigs or enough gigs to justify me buying more stuff then why bother. Just to say I have it? Big deal.
One of these can easily double as an end table.
Two of them together can seat 4 for dinner.
I always recommend getting the equipment that will feed you.
My point was that someone just starting out may think that's a nice speaker to do events with. It might work OK. It's not something I would buy because I don't know how good it is. It looks OK. I just wouldn't trust it a paying gig. Anyone heard of a company called Dolphin?

Had a Bose L1 Pro16 blow up as soon as it was powered on (sparks literally popped out of the front.) Probably the amplifier output stage. Three or four very loud snapping sounds producing sparks followed by nothing. (Audio wasn't even connected yet.) This was the second speaker of what was to be the DJs stereo pair. Had to replace it with another that would have been used elsewhere.
Anyone encounter any such an issue with the Bose L1 Pro16 system and the cause?
(Good Bose sound, but the build is very retail. Plastic parts and not very secure attachment.)
