Sam's Club in Los Angeles had this hand cart yesterday. I picked one up and it seems extremely solid. Might be worth checking out if you're looking for a cart and have a Sam's Club nearby. Rated for 1000lbs as a cart, 800lbs as a dolly.

Those front casters don't look like they'll take alot. I forecast you'll be replacing those pretty quickly. They would do well on something like smooth concrete.

And still a thousand times better than any rocknroller cart.

I swapped mine within the first year or two for something like this - and I have not ever had a problem since. I have a Harper that's like 14 years old.

When I saw it, a rubber one from HF was first thing I thought.....

I have a RnR, I don't recall which one, I thinks its the first one in the low range that says it will hold up to "500lbs", I don't trust it to hold that much weight. I love the concept, I don't like how flimsy it can be.

I used to use a cart exactly like the one posted. It was a tank, and I loved it. I switched to a Rock N Roller a few years back because I was having space issues in the car and needed something more compact.

I miss having the heavier duty cart for sure... I think you'll get a lot of good usage out of it.

Now that I have a van, I might switch back to something like this.

If you want quality go to Uline for your carts and dolly's. There higher priced but they are much better quality..

RnR 10 here as well. I think I have had it 4 years. No complaints yet.

I have a Harper Cart that is sort of similiar to the one pictured as well. I bought it at Wal Mart back in 2009 for $38.99. Last time I checked it cost $62. I think it is rated at 400 or 500 lbs though. It worked well, but the casters are pretty worn down. I still have it. Also have a Jamstands Karma Cart. That thing is weak, but very light weight. I can only pull it...Can't push it any more. I use it when I am really crammed for space, and just can't fit the RnR cart.

I have Five Rock N Roller, the oldest one is the orginal when they first came out in the early 1990’s. I still load it up with very heavy loads. All of them are still in use. One did have some an issue requiring a wield and front wheel replacement. Whatever year/series it was I won’t recommend but we talking about one which came out way over 15 years ago. I brought the all terrain one for going over grass, which it does but the large front wheels don’t turn well on floors. So if you use that one like that you could have some issues with the front wheels on floors if you aren’t careful. But again 10+ years old & the design changed. Presently there are two RNRs in the main van, one in the SUV and two for my second system.

I have not used an Rnr - so I cannot attest to that.
I can add the one I had got broken. Actually a lot was placed on the cart and I guess it was too much. Either way I don't want another one. We have something similar to that one. Just got to keep the wheels inflated because if you don't and you load stuff on it, you will be buying another wheel.

Did you load the cart or did your partner? Amazing how you have such a back injury but still are able to load gear and dj events.

Been thinking the same thing for years

Those Sam's/Costco knock offs are sufficient for infrequent, less than rigorous use.

If you want your money's worth in value and service, NOTHING, and I mean ABSO-FRIGGIN-LUTELY NOTHING outperforms a Magliner Gemini Sr. convertible hand truck...except maybe a brand new Magliner Gemini Sr. convertible hand truck.
