Upgraded My laptops to Windows 10 (from 7) and was having "Bluescreen" and major latency issues when I plugged in my Mya44 USB card, I use this card on my Karaoke rig, Ceremony and as backup in my main rig (line in 1+2 on my MC6000) ..anyway the ESI website had Drivers up-to windows 8.1 (2_953) so I was looking at buying 3 new cards..pfft! or downgrading to win7 when I stumbled across an article in the VDJ forums.
Turns out that the new ESI MYA44 USB+ card uses windows 10 drivers which will also work on the older cards!
Looks like sneaky ESI re-packaged their old card into a new box maybe?
Just a heads-up, you need to un-install the old drivers with the old installer then plug in the card into each USB port and un-install each device in the "device manager" any instance of the 2_953 must be gone before the 3_601 drivers will work.

The ESI looks to use an ASIO driver ... I've had good luck with this one over even manufacturer supplied drivers ... http://www.asio4all.org/

Steve, would you know if these drivers are supported by/in Virtual DJ software?

Seems to be supported by most every software .. just need to select the right driver in the app's output section. I don't run VDJ, but Traktor, Serato and PCDJ work with it.

Just remember - "ASIO4all is designed for units that do not have native ASIO Device Drivers, like your computer's built in audio. This means that ASIO4all connects to an audio device's own WDM Driver or the Windows Generic USB Driver and allows that driver to appear as ASIO to your DAW."

It often works very well, but it is a wrapper and usually will not have as low a Latency as real ASIO.

Not Steve, but I’ll butt in with a response. ASIO4ALL is likely to work with VDJ or any software that uses ASIO. It was designed to work as a kind of middleware to translate ASIO commands to whatever non-ASIO compliant WDM Audio driver your computer may be using. It does a pretty good job of reducing latency as well, but not as good as a REAL ASIO driver would.

Multiple places have recommended it over the native Denon ASIO drivers .. not sure what the latency might be ..
