My wife LOVES Taco Bell. She actually thinks it’s Mexican Food!😂

My wife actually never had real Mexican food until one night we were in a hotel in Virginia and we seen an ad for authentic Mexican cuisine. I talked her in to it and we went. Best Mexican I ever ate she was delighted also but the one thing we noticed everything there including the menu talked about how authentic it was but was everyone in the building wait staff, cooks patrons, everyone were ASIAN LOL. There wasn't a Mexican to be found.

Really not relevant but I thought it was funny :)

Even in the super "authentic" places in Virginia we have a lot of Bolivians, El Salvadorians, and other Latin American countries represented. But I've met very few Mexicans. I'm sure there are some, but it doesn't seem to be a strong contingent around here.

Like most cuisines, "Mexican" recipies have been infuenced by exportation andteh only way to get autehntic is in the country of origin.

For me mole' sauce is as authentic mexican as I've ever been served.

Cinco de Mayo was my first DJ gig in over a year, had a great time playing mostly Reggaeton to an appreciative audience
