Maui 5 Speakers?

Does anyone have Maui 5 speakers? I have a pair but am having a hard time finding the sweet spot when it comes to sound. For some reason, no matter what I do, the bass seems to muddy out the mids and highs.

Huh... I don't own them, but I was considering one to have a white speaker option in my inventory. Your note is concerning as to whether they would sound good in comparison to my Bose Compacts which I think sound very nice.

Which version .. AC or the battery-powered Go. An 8" LF driver isn't going to do big things, though the Maui 5 Go I listened to at the DJ Expo sounded fine. Sure you're not overdriving the bass?

Barely have the bass at 1/4 on the speaker, almost at 0 on the mixer.

Figured out that it's an issue with the mixer. It's an old 14 channel analog mixer.
