Recently the government have made a law for selling masks. If you would like to distribute FREE masks you need to ( basically ) get a statement from the government which makes sure your masks are manufactured to help prevent any illness that you may get through breathing the illness in. If you get this paperwork and the government allow you to create more masks it can be only free if priced you will no longer be able to make masks. If you don't have a statement from the government and you are distributing masks there will be consequences even if you sell them for a price of 0.00$ you will still be prosecuted. Oh and to get the statement to sell the free masks you need to pay 3000$.One word for that: scummy!

No that shows why the world is in a mess today. It's the world's greed that's killing the world. I wasn't going to say this but now I will. I feel all of this is happening because I say God needs to get the world's attention. God shut the world down so all the money, power, wealth and fame means nothing right now.

Is this true? If so, what kinda fuckery is this? Excuse the language but a lot of generous people are making home masks and giving them to first responders and regular people who just need one. We all know most fabric masks (or even those flimsy surgical paper masks) aren't going to do much to prevent you from breathing in particles. It's doing your part to slow down respiratory droplets exiting you as you breathe and talk.

What does this mean 🧐

It means that in France the law may be different than in the US or Canada. Do you have a link to the mask law?

Who are they
Liars...of the American liberal left variety.

Jdm,

Much of the banter in this sandbox is among and between Americans and one Nova Scotian, and mostly of the +40yo demographic. Therefore, you may have to surrender to simply not having the experience to appreciate every bit of wit(lessness) and/or (non)wisdom we share on this side of the pond.

I think I read you are from France. If so, surrendering should be no biggie. <-That's anther one you might not appreciate! 🤣 (I crack myself up sometimes)

I never disliked you.

I may have disliked something you did or said but those are just actions and merely small insights into Jeff Romard.

If we are going to be honest adults, we've, almost all of us, never had ANY opportunity to like or dislike anyone here because we've never actually met. I can't,
and neither can anyone else, honestly and fairly discern any respect or animosity without having been in your company...in reality not on the ignornet.

But we can certainly be cordial and honest in these forums...at least until one of you ninnys gets your panties all wadded up in your girly parts.

Was that not cordial?

No , I think it was not and I apologize. LOL!

The issue of masks in the U.S. is left to the individual States, and they are "orders" not laws. The orders have no basis in law, so even when a locality issues someone a fine the typical response has been that people will tear up the ticket right in front of the police person issuing it. Most police departments have refused to enforce these orders. Those that do are subject to National ridicule.

The problem we have in the U.S. is that politically - no crisis goes to waste. Every dime store politician has stepped upon their soap box to compete for the position of the most effective maker of orders. (Think: No more toy makers to the king.) We are cursed with too many petty gods. My phone has rung every other day of the week with recorded messages from my local Mayor with updates and instructions. It does not seem to have occurred to him that an adult parent of 5 children might already know a thing or two about "washing hands." This is the level of intelligence leading our states, cities, and towns.

As bad as Covid-19 is, it will never be as deadly as a politician in need of campaign funds.
