"Love Story" videos

Guess we just do things different in Jersey and New York lol. I didn’t make this up by the way, this is the model that all the top companies here use. There are more “cinematic” emotional type love stories out there... but those are done by the videographers. We create fun, exciting, humerous videos that are designed to get the crowd in an upbeat mood right before the intros rather than something very emotional that kinda has the opposite effect.
There's no shortage of game show host wannabees masquerading as DJs.
Happy to let NY & NJ keep them. :)

Kudos to the videographers.

I'd consider those types of question as more of a Shoe Game question. This is going to be more emotion-based, like "How did you meet?" or "What would you like to say to them on your wedding day?" I'm thinking that there should be very few (2-4) video clips. The growing up segment up to engagement pics would all be stills with text captions mixed in. We've done these a lot for Mitzvahs and it always seems to work best to keep it short, sweet and sappy. Get a bunch of "awws" in the room, then punch it into the Grand Entrance.

Stills or video, the best of these presentations allows the viewer to attach their own personal significance rather than having an unrelated narrator define it for them. When you have quality imagery and the right sounds it usually speaks for itself. At bar/bat mitzvahs these videos were usually preceded by the parents making a toast or speaking live to the room. This is where the context lies - not in how edgy the DJ is. Albeit - we live in a narcissistic society now where self-awareness has been replaced by self-absorption. There's plenty of FaceTwits who can be separated from their cash for this. :)

I don't get the "game show" nature of it though... we're presenting a video... we're not announcing questions, we don't even say we made the video, so what exactly is the association in real time. We don't speak during it either.

We got 'em here in Pennsylvania, too.
(I know, I'm one of them)

I will admit I love being a semi game show host for the right occasion.
(I host a lot of events that call for it)
But I surely am not MASQUERADING as a DJ.

It's Bobby he hates everything he doesn't understand ;)

I didn't think "Bobby" was a Canadian? ;)

There ain't much hate up here since we quit putting people in jail for weed ;)

That's what all the weedhead believe.

Visit Quebec if you need a dose of hatrid.
I felt the love in Quebec ... and I didn't have to pay for it ...

I've personally never had anything but good experiences in Quebec but they drive like they are insane. Maybe they like Acadians better than Cajuns ;)
