Lightweight line array 40lbs ish, well known quality manufacture, no harbinger, alto, stuff like that. Prefer inch sub

Let me know your thoughts
Quality and weight more important than price

Price no object... here you go: https://www.idjnow.com/2x-rcf-tt-51...vj_L19G240BZAcZ1SYmTbniYpn33s0dAaAijvEALw_wcB

For that weight and decent outpout, you're not going to find too many solid options. At least from the mainstream brands. You can find some more pro grade options, but at almost double the price.

Or for about 1/8 the price with better specs but close to 45 Lbs. Been using them 2 years and has been flawless

Tunes4046 let me ask you this question. How do you plan to use this line array system? JBL has different line array systems for different applications. I suggest you check them out.

I plan to use it to make money in situations where it is the proper equipment,
My business plan is set up to amortize this purchase over X number of gigs I generally try to have most new gear purchases covered in less than 5 gigs. Im hoping to spend less than $4000 dollars so that goal should be easily attainable.

I assume this is how you make purchase decisions too, is that correct?

61 pounds is well over my parameters
The bottom piece is about 45 the top pieces about 15 you'll never lift them both at the same time unless you choose to slip the bag over your shoulder. I suspect you could play pretty much anywhere in your market with 2 of them most places just one

I thought you said money is not an issue. Now you talk about spending less than $4,000. Which one is it? That system that Taso pulled up looks great! Not cheap but that company makes some great gear.

Part of my goal is to create a road case where everything I need is in one case 1 trip in, one trip out, i currently do this with my Bassboss DV12’s and would like to repeat this with a line array

Money is not the main issue but it also has to make financial sense. Thats part of making wise business choices not snap emotional decisions

I do like the HK audio Polar 10. Anyone have real word experience, this would be mainly for small receptions of under 75 people. Birthday parties, as I reach my mid 50’s the type of events i regularly perform at is changing, my gear in minimal. basic wash lighting if any at all. A small compact line array might be the best fit. I still have a large BassBoss system for when a larger system is needed. And several brands/ models models of traditional powered speakers,
I’ve reached a point where it time to downsize and sell off a lot of gear just keeping a small and a large system.
Compact efficient and ease it what I’m after,
I’m wanting to pull up to a venue, open the trailer wheel in one custom built road case that contains everything except my controller and laptops, set up time goal is 20 minutes or less with a tear down time of the same or less. I’m thinking if the road case is constructed properly it can double as the table.

I long ago stopped playing venues that have stairs or difficult to access event spaces

I still play enough to justify this build plus the build it’s self is a fun puzzle for me to solve and construct.
My current trailer is an 8x10 that will be converted to the big show trailer.
I am planning this to go in a low profile 4x6 trailer with hinged roof and ramp door

I've used the 10 a few times not quite the thump as the 12 but very similar in coverage area one would be plenty for the events you mentioned in an appropriate sized room 2 you could probably do up to 250 or so

agreed, but we know that some of these specs out there are not realistic numbers.

True. I look at frequency response and SPL they are scientific. I suppose they are occasionally exaggerated but I suspect it's the lower end models doing that. I wouldn't expect Meyer Sound or H&K to exaggerate or downplay the actual specs. I've used Meyer Sound gear at a venue I worked at a few times it's fine equipment I still wouldn't pay 14X more for it

I was a bit surprised by the Meyer sound array you posted I would have thought Class A or A/B amps they are class D but I guess for lighter weight and efficiency that is the way to go
