You live in Arkansas.... "cold" is what? 45 degrees?
I have peace of mind because I take a few extra minutes to load & unload my equipment back into the garage before & after gigs during the extreme summer & winter months!!!
As long as you give it some time to warm up in the venue before powering up. I would guess at least 30 minutes, but the more time, the less issues with condensation.so i do gigs every week and i left my speakers in backseat and my soundboard and cords/led monitor in a case in trunk .. i put a blanket inside to cover the hardware to keep it warmer as its been getting colder lately -10/-15 etc..... i know this thread has been ongoing and ive been reading it but my stuff will be ok right ?
i drive bout 45 mins to the venue.. with my heat full blast .... does that help ? lolAs long as you give it some time to warm up in the venue before powering up. I would guess at least 30 minutes, but the more time, the less issues with condensation.
i also bring my laptop into the house but leave everything else in the car... its a small led monitor a soundboard buncha cords and my speakers well and mics too but everything is in bags/cases except the speakersAs long as you give it some time to warm up in the venue before powering up. The main danger is a cold device being turned on and generating heat that might cause moisture droplets (condensation) to form inside. It's wise to bring in laptops and external hard drives .. and if you wait long enough to let the monitors and speakers and such warm up, there should be no issue. Just don't fire them up the minute you bring them inside.i also bring my laptop into the house but leave everything else in the car... its a small led monitor a soundboard buncha cords and my speakers well and mics too but everything is in bags/cases except the speakers

Unlikely, unless you drop under -30 or so. Just let them warm up naturally for a bit.their passive speakers i forgot i also got an amp sitting in my trunk too shit i hope that wont get damaged in any way ??? ...
The key is to unload your gear into the venue and allow it to warm up a few minutes before using.
