Sweet! A fellow celt! My wife and I got married in Ireland at Ashford Castle (lots of saving and overtime ) . It was just the two of us and then we threw a party when we got back. Did you know they have a ton of rules about getting married there? For instance, for it to be legal, you can't get married outside. Only approved venues such as manors, castles, churches and of course the courthouse are allowed for that. My wife is full Irish so I proposed to her in full Highland attire (seen here). It took 3 mos to get this kilt custom made from Scotland. It's a full 8 yard kilt. It was an awesome time!...Of course no one goes to Ireland and comes back saying they had a horrible time . Have fun this weekend!

Yeah, I am half Irish (Morrison).
The kilt in my pic is also special.
My hometown of Bethlehem, PA has hosted this event for a long time.
It has become the largest free Celtic Festival in North America.
So, the Celtic Cultural Alliance created the pattern,
and had it officially registered as the tartan of the City of Bethlehem.

Very cool, Mike! Sharp looking tartan and cool that it's custom made for the city of Bethlehem. I've played at the Waterloo, Iowa IrishFest for the past couple of years (vocals, bodhran and cajon) as part of a local Irish Pub band. Was fun. I didn't know this festival was the biggest. I'll have to put it on my calendar for next year!

Busy weekend

(These multiple gig weeks/weekends are unique and not the norm for me. I much prefer to just do 1 gig on Saturday)
