Just found out I may have a gig Christmas Day.

I just found out the chairperson for a sub committee just finished about talking about me doing an event on Christmas Day. I get my hip replacement surgery next Monday on the 24th. Got to how that goes. I wasn't plan on coming back till next year. If all goes well I will be there God willing.

If so should be my first gig coming back. Wish me well. Getting this news helped picked my spirits up!

Not a problem. My partner will be there.

This past Saturday since it's after midnight being at the function where I was at helped lift my spirits.

Not only did that happen but the DJ doing the event was looking for me and said I could have played for about an hour to give him.a break. I was downstairs. He said for me to play while he gets things together. He had the nerve to ask me after knowing me for many years do I know how to use Serato? I told him if he ever ask me that again I would smack the **** out of him. LOL. So I played about 4 songs and time to pack up.

In my condition I might have done 1/2 hour. He says next time I could play for a while. I told him I don't step on my friends toes. He said that's not a problem. I finished it off with this. I told him as great as he is he wouldn't ask me if I didn't know what I'm doing.

So time to wait and see when I will be back.

Obviously it's all about my health. Those 2 things did pick my spirits up. If it does happen great and if not I guess next year will be the target.
