Is this pair of lights worth it?

I decided to ask here first before I pull the trigger. There's an ad on craigslist where someone is selling a pair of used Chauvet Sworm 5 FX lights for $200. $100 each. Is that a good deal? At KPODJ they sell for $190 for 1. So what about this deal?
 
I recommend you purchase everything from strangers on craigslist including your healthcare, medicine, insurance, hard drives filled with music, garbage lights, more used speakers, even groceries...I mean if hookers and pimps and charlatans trust it, why shouldn't you?

What in the world are you talking about? I'm asking is that a good deal? Maybe in your case I shouldn't have mentioned where I got the ad from. I don't know about anybody advertising on Craigslist for pimps or prostitutes. How do you know this? LOL.

If you like useless lights, have at it. The built in lasers should never be pointed at people, but the unit is designed as a floor wash .. so ???

depending on the hours on the unit it is an ok deal... if u get it...dmx program it... match the colors of the beams up with other lights in your show (as steve said...ditch the silly laser)... its ridiculous to turn these type of lights on and just let them go... its a mind numbing effect

I sent a text message and email. So far nothing. Thanks Jeff for that suggestion. If they contact me I will see if they agree to that price.
 
Mix Just give us all your address & we'll send you some lights & equipment so as to clean out some gently used stuff.

I have these lights and use them at teen events. They work fine, like so many similar products, they throw dots around the room. If this effect is something that you'll want, then yes the price is good.

This light is built fairly well to take a rugged beating and still operate.
