Yeah, now that I am back to working full time, I kinda have the same mind set. Why should I offer any discount at all to get bookings for a Sunday if I already earn enough from my week day job, and don't really NEED to book so many events to make a liveable income?

If I had no job, My mindset would be reverse like it was just 2 months ago! lol

I got a Sales job in a office. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's automotive field. It's actually the highest paid W-2 Job I have had in my life. One nice perk is a 30 minute paid lunch. Usually, these Mon-Fri jobs have like a 8:30 to 5 schedule with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. It's also not even 1/3 the work that my old job had me doing. My Co Worker (The other sales guy in the office) has only been there 7 months, and the three guys they hired before me lasted less than a week! One guy lasted 2 days! The Owner is a very meticulous, detail oriented person, and I think that may have scared away the last guy. The other two, they knew were not going to work out, so they let them go only a week into the job. I am on week 4 now so I'm doing good! :)

Also, in the midst of some work place drama going on. The GM there who had worked there off and on for 5.5 years just quit the other day, and another employee followed him. The GM's Brother was fired on Thursday for starting a couple of altercations with other employees. That may have had something to do with the GM quitting. Plus they had two other employees put in notices, and quit because they found better paying jobs else where, and 2 other employees were fired all in the last week or so! So they have become short staffed pretty darn quickly. So we will see how this all works out. The Owner is a very frustrated person right now, and I can understand why. My Co Worker, the Receptionist, and the Owner's wife haver commended me for sticking around so far lol.
