Cases are personal, you need to really try them out. I like them light and thin without the cover. Since when I’m out and about as a rep I am holding/using the iPad all day, every ounce makes a difference. Others like the cases like Steve recommended, some do just a cover & some no case at all. That just amazes me but they want it really light. I’ve stepped on both my pro and air both were bowed A little bit but the cases prevented major damage.

My Air 2 came with a basic (solid color) Fintie case. It held up really good over 2 years of daily use. When it started fraying I went looking for a new case and seen no reason not to stick with Fintie.

This is the case I got shortly before I passed the Air 2 down to my sister. I really like the old school look of it. It's overall pretty light and has the magnetic on/off functionality. I cannot really speak to it's protective ability as my iPad rarely leaves the house. When it does it's kept in a well padded laptop bag.

When I bought my new iPad earlier this year I seen no reason not to stick with Fintie. My Arr 2 case technically could fit the new model it was just a little off. This case has a space for an Apple pen if I decide to buy one later on. Again the quality of the graphics is great as it is with the composition book style. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CH9FVSV
