Im still learning my DJ-707M and would like to work on it more at home. I'm looking for a speaker that I can come out of my controller with XLRs and into a small speaker to listen at home instead of bringing in my EV 15s. Is there some you all use or recommend?

I would go with a Kali Audio LP-6. These are about the best sounding monitors in their price range ($300/pr). The designer is the same guy that designed the $20K/ea JBL M2 monitors and the JBL LSR700 and LSR300 series monitors. The Kali's have some EQ settings on them to compensate for how they are mounted (desktop, wall, stand, etc).

I use samson monitors. Build in amps @ xlr inputs. Also use as computer speakers.
More than good for my needs. I'm not producing records LOL

I use KRK Rockit 5 in my studio they are a very nice sounding speaker. If you like a little more thump the Rockit 8's are great
