In case you didn’t notice there was a minor miracle on ODJT this week

I know you said a little REEFER. If you owned a venue would it be OK if someone smoked a little REEFER in your venue? I know a lot of people look at POT as not a big deal. I know personally for me it was a gate way drug. Once I got tired of smoking weed I went to using something else.
Something else?? Like other peoples pain pills???

Like Cocaine and Dope.
intervention
an occurrence in which a person with a problem (such as a drug addiction) is confronted by a group (as of friends or family members) whose purpose is to compel the person to acknowledge and deal with the problem
Denial, in ordinary English usage, has at least three meanings: asserting that any particular statement or allegation is not true (which might be accurate or inaccurate); the refusal of a request; and asserting that a true statement is not true.

What about the thing I said about the bride doing drugs at the venue? If you owned a venue would it be OK for a client to do drugs at the venue even if they smoked some weed?

How do you feel about them drinking alcohol?

That's up to those who drink alcohol. I don't. If they are OK with it go for it. In certain situations it's legal to drink alcohol. I played in bars so. So I didn't have an issue with people drinking alcohol. I just know what I didn't do and that was important to me.

Now I hate that in Jersey they legalized weed. They have done it in other states as well. It's all about the government making money from taxing the sell of weed.

Shouldn't it be up to those who smoke weed too?

Why not leave using any drugs to whoever want to get high? My bad, the judges, police and lawyers would be out of a job. LOL.

Alcohol is a drug too and by all stats a much more dangerous one than weed

As long as they share.
😃
I've been smoking it for more than 40 years and I have never been tempted to move on to something else. Not even alcohol. I have also never judged others for their "drug of choice"...as long as their use doesn't negatively affect someone else.

You actually shared that with us? I wonder what past and future clients would feel if they knew you used drugs?

I shared it with my friends here on ODJT because I am not ashamed. In case you haven't noticed, times have changed. As far as my clients, there is no need for them to know. I never indulge before or during a gig. You would probably be surprised at how many of your clients smoke.

That's the tired on excuse, times have changed. So that's the cop out that some people love to use today. Let me ask you this question seriously. Do you consider yourself an addict? If so why and if not why not?

Breaking news Mixxy. Not everybody that drinks are drunks!
I understand that. There are those who don't think they have a problem but they do.

When I came out of the first rehab I was in and went to a meeting the same day, I knew I was an addict. I just didn't feel I had a problem.

Last time I used I admitted I had a major problem! Just recognizing I had a problem does nothing. I had to do something about my problem. If you don't do anything nothing is going to happen.
