I'm having issues with adding pictures and videos from a SD card to both laptops.

I never had this problem before. I took pictures and videos at a friends dance this past Saturday he and his friend did. For some reason the pictures and videos on the card won't fully load on either of my laptops. It stops at about 32% and won't download any further. Can anybody here tell me what the issue is please? This is a first time ever.

At first glance, It sounds like the card card could be corrupted.
when you put the card in the laptops, can you view each file?

can you view all of the files on the camera?

try copying and pasting several files from the card to somewhere on the laptop.

I got it partially taken care of. I only imported 27 photos and that worked. I took videos on the same card. I don't know what happened to them. They won't load for some reason.

Won't transfer or won't open?

Are the pictures in a proprietary raw camera format such as .NEF ?

Sometimes an SD card is improperly formatted for its size or use.

Another trick I've learned is to "Take Ownership" of the entire disk, just in case one or more of the contents are file protected.

I finally got things straigtened out and just finished loading up a flash drive with pictures and videos for my friend who is a DJ.

Mixxy can you share how to fixed the issue? May help one of us in the future?

I found the pictures and videos from the SD card I used. For some reason when it said 59 things to be downloaded only so many would take before stopping. What I normally do is use 2 SD cards when taking pictures and videos. I make sure both are a different size so I know which one is which. I only had the one card. Some how I lost the other one I had.

How do you lose so many things?
