Kind of a terse statement ...

We have discontinued the LATIN genre, We apologize for the inconvenience.

I don't play much Latin .. I suppose if I went after the local Quinceañera market I might, but not my demographic. When I started with IDJPool, they didn't have Latin (or Christian, Gospel, Jazz). I hope if there is a Latin hit that crosses over (like a Despacito), that it will show up in the Pop/AC/Urban categories as well. Since I'm only looking for Top 40/Hot 100 stuff, the impact will be minimal.

Same here. I use X-Mix for my regular music service though, and it's crazy how many songs are released each week in the Latin music genres. If I had to guess, iDJPool probably knows that it's too much work to secure all of those tracks each week for the very low percentage of subscribers who actually download them.

Any song worth playing can be streamed or downloaded whenever it's needed. After the demise of PrimeCuts a couple years ago, and with Tidal integration now available with Serato, I often wonder how long some of these other pools will be able to sustain themselves.
