This DJ on this site wanted to know about using a Mac computer to DJ with is the thing and if it is why is that? It doesn't matter if you use a Mac or Windows computer to DJ with. What is important is having the right stuff inside for what you plan to use it for. Both my laptops are Windows and the main laptop I use to DJ with is a super old Lenovo from back in the day. I have VDJ 8 to DJ with and have no issues with using it to DJ with. The thing is having enough Ram speed so the program works perfectly. If the speed is not enough then when trying to play a song it will buffer meaning it will not play smoothly. Also important is what is the OS? An older operating system from many years ago will not read the software and will cause major problems. Many years ago the old DJ software programs were nothing like the ones today. The programs of today have more apps in them and require a higher grade operating system then before. For Ram speed I would recommend at least 8 gigs of Ram to use with the DJ software of today.
To be fair to Mac users some wouldn't use anything else just because to them it's better.
