You bought the right cases if the controller fit with no mods.
Good cases don't come cheap
You know ,you get what you pay for like
DJ's. LOL

I had 2 other cases and never needed to do anything to the cases for the controller to fit perfectly. Never had to use rack rails.
And if you would have researched more thoroughly, you could’ve bought one this time too, however you didn’t read thoroughly, this seems to be an issue often for you. There are several cases by several manufacturers that make cases that would’ve have worked exactly like you wanted, but it appears you were too impatient to do the research, why didn’t you just order the same case you had before ???I had 2 other cases and never needed to do anything to the cases for the controller to fit perfectly. That's nice nut I don't need a rack like that. When I first came back to DJing I had a rack setup to put my Numark CDN 88 in. That's been long gone.I bought a 14-space Harmony rack for my gear three or so years ago...loved it, but was way too heavy for just me to lift, so I purchased a 10-space rack and took out a couple of items that I really didn't need (equalizer, compressor/limiter and a wireless four mic unit).
While it is smaller and lighter, it is still heavy.
It’s a moving head it doesn’t have an on of switch because it’s designed to be controlled by DMX, hopefully your purchase increases your income as that’s the reason a professional DJ makes a purchaseI just bought a moving head to use for January 1st. It's nice. One thing is it doesn't have an off and on switch. I will get another power strip to use and keep it turned off until I want to use the light. I have to look again at the box to see what brand it is.
Your many partners you have had over the years don't have lights you can use for a one off event?I just bought a moving head to use for January 1st. It's nice. What happened to the pair you already had bought? It's like every gig you do, you lose money on it. I swear if you actually did a profit/loss statement you probably haven't had a profitable year in the last decade since I've known you on the forums.
The most difficult part for you is learning how to use it you have to be able to watch and study online videos, it’s not something you’ll learn in a few minutes, I still learn new stuff with DMX and I’ve been doing it for 15 years. Yea you can run it with a simple analog DMX controller,I get you about a DMX light controller. I looked on Ebay and saw many different types. Some inexpensive and some expensive ones. If I bought one I would need to find out how to use it? What wires I would need to use it, how to wire it up and then how to work it? I'm considering getting one. Any suggestions Tunes4046 for one that I don't need a computer to use it?
