I just got some more gear delivered to me last week.

I ordered 2 used lights. The Chauvet Vue 2 and another light that I have to look at the light for the name of the light. Also got another Pioneer EFX 500 because the one I had is broken. A switch on it is broken so it doesn't work properly. I was hoping this past Saturday I would get to use all the lights I have. I didn't get the job so I didn't get to use the lights.

I plan on using them helping out a friend who has a big event to do on Saturday November 2nd. I told him I have a surprise for him and for him to mind his business or I was going to beat him up I would be doing the event. Just having fun with him.

I didn’t realize you had budgeted for new lighting in your business plan this year
I guess "new" would be relative for a 10 year old fixture .. :)

Purchasing gear seems to be a never ending endeavor.

I thought I was done for a long while, BUT I noticed one of my GTD mics is not turning on or working any longer. ...My Shure BLX handheld seems to be deteriorating rapidly now that I have had it for 4 years. I still need to buy 8 more new Up Lights, but will sell my old Blizzard Puck Up lights soon before I do that.

Mix, are you interested in Blizzard RGB Battery powered pucks? I'd make you a deal on them. They all work. Just older style lights. I can include carry bags even. The bags just have faulty zippers, but you can still transport the lights around in the bags.

I might be interested.

Don't depend on the Vue II to be your only lighting I had a pair of them one died 5 months in and was covered by warranty and died again in a little over a year the other just after the warranty expired

if you have plenty....and do gigs for free...and are no doubt on a fixed income...why are you buying more?

Obsession hit and I bought some more gear. Besides stop thinking every event I do is for free. The last one I did was a freebie and as I mentioned it was for family.

My appologies....let me rephrase...Every gig is for free except for the canceled ones.

Let me rephrase things. You're an idiot trying to be a comedian. Stop trying to be a comedian and stick with idiot. You might get rich being a idiot. You'll never make it being a comedian. LOL.
