I found out today I need a different kind of screen for outdoor events.

We have a gig to do this Saturday July 24th 2021 and the event is in a complex in Plainfield, NJ outside. The last time I did an event outside the glare from the sun made it almost impossible to see the screen on VDJ. My partner came by and saw what I needed. I need a different skin from VDJ to cut down on the glare from the sun so I can see the screen to pick the songs I want to play. He told me he used it with his touch screen PC he used to DJ with so he could see the screen. He couldn't come by until this Friday because his GF broke her arm. Hopefully he gets it tonight so I can see the screen properly tomorrow.

You've already posted about this scenario here - and been given tons of advice, to include screen settings. I'm not sure why you're posting about this very same issue again. Please go read the previous thread.
I found out that going into settings on the laptop won't work. That's only for the laptop screen and not VDJ.

Does VDJ not have a Day screen setting?
There is not, but there is a "day-light" skin , it might help a little bit.

I've had this problem before and depending on how you are situated to the sun, even new skins may not be the answer. I fashioned a 3-sided hood for my laptop using black foam-core (from a hobby store) and some gaffers tape. I made it so it slipped over my screen neatly. It did the job nicely.

There absolutely is. If you're using VDJ 2018 or higher and are using the default skin in any mode but "Starter", just click on the variation menu and choose "Daylight" from the list of color schemes. There's no need to download any type of addon.

So....I checked my VDJ(current version) before I made the post, and could not find any options for a daytime setting but did not check there, so today I learned there is already a Daylight setting, thanks B!

I took pictures of the screen my partner put on the main laptop I use to DJ with. I love that VDJ screen! Also when I clicked for the screen to come up the voice drops were right there.
